Golconda is a premier provider of PC, PLC, and SCADA systems for control applications within the process industries. However, our expertise extends far beyond these core offerings.

Founded in 1975, Golconda began as specialists in silo level monitoring and we remain a trusted representative of leading level control manufacturers, including Babbitt International, Monitor, Nohken, and, since 2013, Mollet.

The establishment of our Electrical Process Control department in 1985 enabled us to broaden our service portfolio. Today, we are proud to serve a diverse base of blue-chip clients who depend on Golconda’s engineering team for comprehensive control system solutions. We are systems integrators for Rockwell Automation, and we supply the full range of Allen Bradley PLC and SCADA systems.

In 1990, to support our expanding operations, Golconda relocated to a purpose-built facility in north Nottingham, conveniently situated near Junction 26 of the M1 motorway.

In 1991, we launched Golconda Process Weighing to deliver mechanical engineering expertise in materials handling, continuous and batch weighing, Loss-in-Weight systems, and more.

Since 1994, we have distributed Moduflex loading bellows from Cimbria, a partnership that continues to this day. Our product range also includes volumetric metering feeders from Hethon, and from 2025, we are proud to offer A Ward container loading and unloading solutions to enhance bulk handling efficiency.

Golconda provides in-house 2D and 3D CAD design services using Autodesk AutoCAD & Inventor software. We offer electrical control (design and build in house) and mechanical projects, including comprehensive site surveys.

In 2004, Golconda was appointed the official UK agency for Concetti, a leading European manufacturer of bag filling and palletising equipment, renowned for supplying complete lines from one source. We are also authorised distributors for Technowrapp pallet stretch wrapping machines.

Golconda is a member of SHAPA (Solids Handling and Processing Association) and the PPMA (Process and Packaging Machinery Association). We are SafeContractor approved, certified under SSIP Safety Schemes in Procurement, and hold Cyber Essentials certification.
